Intermittent

When the Sprinkler System Acts Up

A system that fails every other day is harder than one that fails every time. Heat, a weak solenoid, a rain sensor on the edge of its setting, and a second program hiding in the clock all behave that way.

Catch it in the act

Note the hour, the station, and the weather. A zone that only fails after 3 p.m. may be a heat-soaked solenoid. A system that skips a day may be a sensor or an odd-even program fighting a second start time.

We want the pattern

Call 346-642-6161 and give the pattern, not only “it acts up.” The pattern picks the part. If you can leave the system on the failing station when we arrive, the diagnosis is shorter.
